Online Applications are invited for the post of Staff Nurse (Regular basis)
Opening Date for Online Submission of Application: 19/06/2013
Closing Date for Online Submission of Application: 23/07/2013 at 5.00 p.m.
Last date for receipt of hardcopy (print out) of Computer Generated Application: 27/07/2013 at 3.30 p.m.
No. of V acancies – 52 plus arising vacancies.
Qualification:
1) Pre-Degree or its equivalent
2) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery with 2 years experience Or B.Sc. Nursing Degree
3) Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council Registration
Pay Band
Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. The applicants should satisfy eligibility criteria as on 31.05.2013 in all respects. The online registration of applications will be available in RCC website www.rcctvm.org.
2. Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 31/05/2013. The following categories are eligible for age
Relaxation:
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe upto 5 years
Other Backward Classes upto 3 years
Internal Candidates upto 5 years
Candidates who are claiming age relaxation should submit caste certificate viz. SC/ST/OBC in the prescribed format issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a T ahsildar . Internal candidates who are claiming age relaxation should produce certificate from the Administrative Officer/Finance Manager (Projects).
3. Application Fee
Rs.750/-(Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) for General Category and Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC/ST Category .
4. Mode of payment:
Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘THE DIRECTOR, REGIONAL CANCER CENTRE', payable at “SBT , Medical College Branch, Thiruvananthapuram” or any of its service branches at Thiruvananthapuram.
* The fee paid by the candidates will not be refunded.

On the basis of Written T est and Interview
6. Important Note
a. Fill the application form completely online
b. Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
c. A candidate shall not submit more than one application.
d. Request for change/correction in the computer generated application form shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
e. RCC will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transmission/transit of computer generated application. Candidates should retain photocopies of the DD and computer generated application form for their own records and future reference.
f. Any attempt to influence the Selection Committee of the Centre directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidate.
g. A candidate's admission to the T est/Interview is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the call letter has been issued to the candidate does not imply that his/her candidature has been finally accepted by RCC.
h. In case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will be cancelled.
i. Application of those candidates who do not possess the qualification/prescribed experience as on 31/05/2013 will summarily be rejected.
j. Communal rotation as followed by the Kerala Public Service Commission will be observed in the selection.
k. The envelope should be superscribed as ‘APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF STAFF NURSE'
l. The completed print out of the computer generated application form duly signed by the candidate should reach ‘The Director , Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College P .O.,Thiruvananthapuram–69501 1, Kerala, India’ by Registered/Speed Post only latest by 3.30 p.m. on 27.07.2013 along with the following documents.
a. DD in Original
b. Self attested copies of the following
(i) Proof of age
(ii) Pre-Degree or its equivalent certificate
(iii) B.Sc. Nursing/GNM certificate (mark list not required)
(iv) KNMC Registration Certificate
(v) Experience certificate
(vi) Copy of caste certificate issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildar for candidates claiming application fee concession/age relaxation.

Note:- Only those application forms submitted both online and by post will be processed further . The application of candidate who fail to submit any one of these, will be rejected. The appointment if any secured by the applicant will be terminated without notice in the event of any misrepresentation or suppression of facts on part of the applicant.
